Data Deletion Instructions

At SkillSnap, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your data from our systems, including data collected through Facebook Login.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data in the following ways:

1. Account Settings: Log into your SkillSnap account, navigate to "Dashboard" → "Security", and click on the "Delete Account" button.
2. Email Request: Send an email tonotifications@skillsnap.devwith the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
   • Your full name
   • The email address associated with your account
   • Whether you logged in using Facebook or other methods

Facebook User Data Deletion

If you used Facebook to login to SkillSnap and want to delete your information:

1. You can remove app permissions through Facebook by visitingFacebook App Settingsand removing the SkillSnap application.
2. After removing permissions on Facebook, please also contact us via email to ensure complete removal of your data from our systems.

Note: Data deletion requests initiated through Facebook will be processed within 30 days as required by Facebook's platform terms.

What Data We Delete

When you request data deletion, we will remove:

• Your account information (name, email, profile picture)
• Any content you've created on our platform
• Your usage history and preferences
• Data received through Facebook Login if applicable
• Any other personal data associated with your account

We may retain certain information for legal, security, and fraud prevention purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

Data Deletion Timeline

Once we receive your request, we will process data deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion process is complete.
